Parma ham, balsamic vinegar, ravioli, Parmesan cheese, Verdi and Pavarotti all come from here. You don’t get much more Italian than this. And, the main reason it stays that way is that up to now the Emilia-Romagna has escaped the tourist invasion. Our hotel is only 50 km south of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
