The short enduro tour for in between: Get in the car on Friday after work, ride Enduro for two days and return home on Sunday evening. You stay with a small group of like-minded people in a chic agriturismo with swimming pool and typical Piedmontese cuisine. During the day, you ride in a varied and challenging terrain up to the lofty heights of 2,000 metres.
If it’s luxury and relaxation you’re after, book a cruise. We’re talking Enduro here. In one of the most beautiful and, at the same time, challenging landscapes in Europe. Meeting this challenge means pushing yourself to the limit every single day. There’s nothing to distract our attention, since this region is almost unknown to civilization. Just prepare to be blown away by awesome panoramas.
But, you’ve got to stop sometime, and even the toughest Enduro rider needs to eat. In keeping with the tone of the whole tour, we stay rustic as our tour guide cooks up meat or fresh trout barbecue for those who like. We finish off the day with a beer at the village tavern.
If you book two consecutive tours, we offer you a special discount price of € 790,- for both tours.
On this tour you will get into your flow in any case, no matter if you are looking for a professional or a cappuccino tour. The huge terrain around our starting point offers challenges for all riding levels. We ride new routes on each of the five riding days, and the route can be flexibly adapted to the group. The tour is ideal for those who want to really switch off and fully immerse themselves in enduro racing and the Tuscan countryside. Our accommodation is a family-run country estate from the 15th century with hotel-owned restaurant near the medieval village of Anghiari. Culinary delights are also provided at lunchtime: our local tour guides will take us to their favorite restaurants, where we will be treated to local cuisine.
The tour can also be booked as a week tour for those who want to really relax and fully immerse themselves in the enduro sport and the Tuscan landscape. Really switching off is guaranteed here. After the nearby community of Anghiari is a “cittàslow”, the decision is easily made to stay a week.
SPAIN If you want to take the challenge up a notch, join the Spanish Orange Taste Tour. There is a reason why the pros flock to the region north of Valencia for winter training. Rocky inclines winding through orange groves and up steep mountains require strength, stamina and technical skills. Even experienced riders can reach their limits here. The ever-present panorama view onto the Mediterranean Sea and the promise to spend the evening together at a beach bar with a San Miguel in hand and reliving the successes of the day make the hard rides of the day easier to handle. Just like the Enduro pros, we stay close to the beach at Hotel Intur Bonaire in the resort town of Benicassim.
Vamos a Andalucía! There’s a lot more on offer than Flamenco, sun, red wine and jamón: Andalusia with KTM means adventure, ravines, mountains, rocky single trails, deserts and river beds. Our local tour guides know the best trails, great tapas bars and restaurants, and they make sure that your tour is an unforgettable experience. The familyrun country hotel in the typical Spanish-Moorish style is surrounded by orange groves, adding to that unique Andalusian atmosphere. Arriba!
With the Romania Round Trip we offer you an entirely off-road-tour over the mountain chain of the Southern Carpathians. Our starting point is Caransebes near Timisoara, from where we head for Baile Herculane, which will be our first overnight stop. This town boasts a number of thermal springs, and back in the 19th century, Empress Elisabeth of Austria used to take the waters here. We then continue our journey, riding in the direction of Valiug. This resort stands between two reservoirs, whose cristal clear waters will surely tempt you in for an invigorating swim before sitting down to an enjoyable evening meal on the waterfront. We will have two nights and our rest day in Valiug. Your luggage will be transported by our support vehicle. We will ride in up to three different groups with up to three different levels. The tour can be booked as a big round trip to the Danube upon request.
Come with us on a journey through time back to the 19th century into a pristine wilderness which is still home to wolves and bears. Romania’s Carpathian Mountains are characterized by endless forests, picturesque valleys and high mountains, mountain rivers and waterfalls, crystal clear mountain lakes and secluded chalets. We will ride on wild, overgrown single tracks above the tree line, across meadows up to the summit at over 2,000 m. A dream come true for every ENDURO rider.
Southbound on the Brenner Freeway: People usually head towards Lake Garda or continue straight on, but we bear left. It’s about to get Venetian. In contrast to its famous capital city, the region of Veneto is relatively unknown to tourists and home to some beautiful, alpine landscapes. Almost deserted mountain villages and old defensive trenches are the only evidence of the region’s history. The Enduro tracks here are not for beginners: we battle our way up and down steep single trails up to a height of around 1,700 m. It’s a feat that requires the ultimate combination of fitness and technology. The few people we meet on the tour – apart from when we’re in South Tyrol – are all real Italians. And that delicious Italian food we all know and love is served all over the place. So. Do you want to bear left off the Brenner with us?
Sicily – for enduro riders an exciting island full of fascinating and varied routes.
With the KTM between water and fire: we ride on fire trails towards Mount Etna, through green forests, past raging mountain streams and back over the lava ash through dried-out gorges that pass over into white dream beaches. The lunches in Sicily are a culinary highlight you can look forward to. Our base is a romantic little hotel with a pool and garden and views of Mount Etna. A small village with shops and restaurants and the sea are within walking distance.
In the heart of the Apennine Mountains, where the peaks of the Emilia-Romagna, Tuscany and the marks meet, we escape into a lush green landscape far away from everyday life and explore the hilly to mountainous scenery. Away from the signs of tourism, you can still find a bit of authentic Italy in this region. A tour through the backcountry of the Italian Adria is like traveling back in time: Farm houses and small estates from bygone eras are nestled in a picturesque and ever-changing hill and mountain landscape, ancient forests, carefully tended orchards and wheat fields. The terrain offers faster gravel roads as well as technique-challenging trails, thus meeting the expectations of beginners as well as experienced Enduro riders. In the evening, we enjoy excellent Italian cuisine and a glass of Sangiovese or two in the wine cellar at the hotel. Our cozy four-star hotel reflects the typical Italian manor style. It is located 15 km outside of San Marino and Rimini.
Italy is an alpine country – above all in Piedmont. Gravel roads and remote mountain meadows lead us into the Maritime Alps, up to a height of 1500 metres. The views of the snow-covered mountain ranges are breathtaking. Following long unused pack mule trails, we fight our way uphill through dark woods and looping through scree fields. Enduro alpinism like this has not been possible in German-speaking countries for the last 50 years. We stay overnight in an elegant 4-star hotel.
ITALY Competition cyclists ride on the road in pursuit of the coveted yellow jersey. We ride offroad and wear the orange jersey. Our tour starts in San Secondo, where we warm up. The next stage then continues up to an altitude of 2000+ meters. We ride past the skiing region of Sestriere, which hosted the 2006 Winter Olympics and which also features regularly as the finish for stages in the Tour de France and the Giro d’ Italia. We stay overnight in the village of Bardonecchia, the destination for this stage. The third leg of the tour takes us back to our starting point, San Secondo. On the final day you can put yourself through your paces once more. Your luggage will be transported by a support vehicle. And, don’t worry – you’ll complete this tour without any need for doping.
Parma ham, balsamic vinegar, ravioli, Parmesan cheese, Verdi and Pavarotti all come from here. You don’t get much more Italian than this. And, the main reason it stays that way is that up to now the Emilia-Romagna has escaped the tourist invasion. Our hotel is only 50 km south of Modena and Reggio Emilia. It sits among the mountainous landscape of the Apennines and has everything to make an enduro heart sing: A full-on challenging terrain with varied single tracks and lots of ascents and descents.
Welcome to the Czech Orange Weekend, the two-day tour for KTM ADVENTURE TOURS newcomers, returners, busy people and everyone who hates traffic jams. Just a couple of hours’ drive from Munich, you find yourself in a challenging, varied and hilly terrain containing plenty of forest and where one section of single trail leads straight onto the next. Set out after work on Friday and get back on Sunday evening – this tour is the perfect way to get out there for a couple of days and push yourself to the limit without having to use up a day of your annual leave.
CROATIA – The mainland, two islands, three days and thousands of new impressions. The Adriatic coast of Croatia, studded with islands set admidst crystal-clear waters watched over by craggy, precipitous ridges and hiding secluded coves, is simply too beatiful to stay in just one place. We start our adventure in Rabac and return here at the end of the trip. Your luggage will be trasnported by a support vehicle. Three days ares not enough? Extend your stay and join the Istria tour that takes place immediately before or afterwards. When you book the two tours together you get a special discounted price.
The picturesque town of Marija Bistrica is not only a famous place of pilgrimage for devout Catholics, it is now also a place for ambitious KTM riders. The reason for the former is the wonder of the statue of the Holy Mother of God. The reason for the latter is the miraculous and breathtaking scenery that surrounds the small town: Many single tracks look like they were man-made as competition routes. The fact that the trails are almost free of stones is quite atypical for Croatia. Enduro fans leave the excitement and challenges of the day behind and relax in a beautiful wellness hotel with a sauna and massages and replenish their spent energies with traditional local and international dishes. There is no better place to experience Croatian culture than here, far away from mass tourism. Zagreb airport is about 45 km away. A transfer can be set up upon request.
Istria is renowned for its incredibly beautiful coastline, crystal-clear water and picturesque villages. Only a handful of people also get to know the hinterland of this fabulous vacation area. We will lead you into this hinterland and ride some challenging single trails with you as they wind their labyrinthine way through the chalky, rocky landscape. Stream crossings and climbs in rocky canyons require a good technique and physical condition. Our reward will be stunning views of the deep blue Adriatic Sea. In our elegant 4-star hotel, we will also enjoy stunning sea views and top-class Mediterranean cuisine. This tour is perfect for anyone wanting to take a vacation, but also wanting a sporting challenge.
